Nic Dougall

Being born in the UK and having grown up in both Australia and South Africa, Nic Dougall is a true globetrotter by nature. Something that also shows in his professional career.

At only 26 years of age he has already made a name of himself, having been part of the World Tour outfit Dimension Data for Qhubeka for the past couple of years. Over five seasons, he recorded a Top-20 finish at the 2016 UCI Road World Championships in Doha, Qatar, and was instrumental in the team’s Spring Classics races, and the Grand Tours such as the Vuelta a España. In fall 2018, Nic decided to return to his roots and shift his focus from cycling to triathlon.

At 16-years-old, Dougall showcased his potential on the international stage having won the 2009 16- 19 age group Sprint ITU World Championships in Australia, where he also posted the fastest time of the day across all age categories. In 2019, during his first season on the international triathlon circuit, Nic focussed on  70.3 IRONMAN races, managing top-10 finishes in every race he took to the start.

“During my road career I’ve been racing on a variety of wheels, always depending on the circumstances. Now, I need something than can do it all. When I received the Scope R5c I was immediately impressed by their performance. They simply feel great.”
