About the job
Over the years, Scope has become one of the leading carbon wheel brands focussing on innovation and performance. With a wide background and strong in-house engineering team on a daily base we are working to shape the future of Scope Cycling and with that the future of Cycling.  Scope products are used in over 25 countries, by several bike manufacturers and the best professional cyclist in the world.

As product engineer, you will be part of the engineering team and will be responsible for the following activities:

• Lead R&D projects with a strong focus on new product development and product improvement.
• Develop new ideas from brainstorming till product launch, including construction, designing, and modelling (e.g. FEM & CFD).
• Check and control quality reports and in case of issues solve them.
• You will be situated in the heart of Scope in the headquarter in Eindhoven and collaborating with multiple other departments.

About you
To be successful in the role it would be necessary to have the following experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree, preferably in aerospace- or mechanical engineering
• Minimum of 5-year experience in a mechanical engineering roll
• Passion for Cycling
• Proactive and driven
• Advanced experience in the use of 3D drawing in CAD such as SolidWorks
• Experience in FEM analysis
• Fluent in written and spoken English & Dutch
