In a couple of years, the VolkerWessels Cyclingteam has grown from a cycling club (2017) into a strong and stable UCI Continental team (2020). With a healthy mix between experienced and young talented riders, the team can handle any course.
Despite of the COVID-19 crisis in 2020, the team still won 2 big Dutch classics, the ‘Ronde van Groningen’ and the ‘Omloop van de Braakman’. Besides that, one of our riders finished a strong 10th place at the Pro National Championships, and not to forget; we finished as best UCI continental team.
In the season 2021, we will ride for the first time with the R4 Disc and R5 Disc Scope Cycling wheels. The combination with our Cannondale SuperSixEVO and Schwalbe Pro One Tires, will provide us the high quality that we need to race at the highest level.
