We are a team of engineers and are driven by the idea to push the boundaries of modern wheel building. We think, that we can set new benchmarks with our wheels. And, so far, our developments have proven us right.
However, to be able to set new standards it needs more than our own experience. That’s why we partner with various technology leaders and renown companies. While the experts of the Eindhoven University of Technology and Delft University of Technology helped us to refine our wheel design, it was Schwalbe who helped us to make our wheels not just tubeless-ready, but to actually optimize the inner profile of our rims for the use of tubeless tires.
But our collaboration doesn’t stop there. The perfect fit of a tire also plays a vital role for the overall aerodynamic performance of a wheel. And as such, the shape of the mounted and inflated tire also has an influence on the shape of the outer side of the rim.
Development matters
Starting from the tire we develop our wheels to feature the perfect balance between aerodynamics, stiffness, durability, and comfort. They allow for a maximum rider weight of 125kg for the disc brake versions and 95kg for the rim brake versions. For you. To get the most out of your ride.
The German brand has been on the forefront of developing tubeless bicycle tires. Together we have been able to create a fruitful work relationship. Besides finding the optimal rim interface for tubeless tires, our joint sponsorship of the Professional Continental cycling team Wallonie-Bruxelles played a vital role in the development of the brand-new Pro One tire line-up.
To give you an insight into our collaboration with Schwalbe we took to the road and drove to the brand’s headquarters in Reichshof, Germany.
