To support our continued growth, we are expanding our Operations team.
The Role
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring that materials and products are available at the right time, in the right quantities, and at the right location in the worldwide supply- and distribution network of Scope.
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of our supply chain, translating forecasts and supply requirements into purchase and production planning. You will work closely with suppliers, production partners and colleagues across Operations, Sales and Finance to keep materials flowing and deliveries on track.
You will actively follow up on purchase orders and supplier commitments, monitor inventory and identify risks before they impact production or customer deliveries. When issues arise, you take action, challenge suppliers where needed and drive solutions.
Working closely with our warehouse partners, you will ensure smooth material flows, accurate inventory and reliable warehouse operations.
Your work directly contributes to reliable deliveries to distributors, dealers, OEM customers and consumers worldwide, while helping Scope further professionalise its planning and supply chain processes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on purchase orders and supplier commitments
- Execute MRP planning based on forecasts and inventory levels
- Coordinate daily material planning and production priorities
- Monitor supplier deliveries and proactively address delays and supply risks
- Challenge suppliers on performance and drive corrective actions when commitments are not met
- Identify and resolve material shortages, delivery issues and other supply chain deviations
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify shortages or excess stock
- Maintain accurate planning and supply chain data in the ERP/MRP system
- Prepare and lead supplier KPI reviews
- Coordinate daily operations and material flows with external warehouse partners and monitor warehouse performance
- Coordinate planning activities across Operations, Sales, Finance, QC and production partners
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve planning, inventory management and supply chain processes
Who are you?
You bring structure to a dynamic supply chain and are comfortable taking responsibility for getting things done. You are proactive, analytical and practical, and you don’t wait for problems to solve themselves.
You also recognize yourself in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement or Operations
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Exact Online is a plus
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working with suppliers
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mindset
- Clear and confident communicator in an international environment
- Good command of English & Dutch
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-growing scale-up
- Affinity with cycling is a plus
