About the job
As an Operations Support, you will strengthen the Operations team, which is responsible for ensuring timely stock-based deliveries to customers worldwide and providing high-quality (after-sales) service.
The primary focus of this role is to support the Supply Chain Planner in the day-to-day execution of supply chain and operational processes, such as placing purchase orders and monitoring inventory levels.
The position requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and discipline, and offers the satisfaction of contributing to the development of sustainable processes within a fast-growing scale-up operating in an international supply chain environment.
In this role, you will play an active supporting part in the procurement process and in keeping our material and availability planning up to date. You ensure that inventory data, material flows, and planning information are accurate and current, enabling decisions to be made based on reliable data. In doing so, you directly contribute to reliable deliveries to distributors, dealers, OEM customers, and consumers worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and prepare the material planning, including inventory levels, inventory adjustments, and warehouse transfers
- Support the procurement process, including creating and processing purchase orders in the ERP system (Exact Online) based on system-generated order proposals
- Process and follow up on goods receipts and verify that they are correctly registered in the ERP system
- Keep supplier delivery dates up to date and support production planning activities
- Monitor deviations in lead times and proactively flag exceptions to the Supply Chain Planner
- Plan, arrange, and administratively process international (parcel) shipments, including coordination with logistics partners
- Maintain and enrich item master data and supplier data in the ERP system
- Identify discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely follow-up
Who are you?
You are someone who brings structure and clarity to processes and systems. You work in a structured and accurate manner and take ownership of data quality and planning reliability. You also recognize yourself in the following:
- Strong administrative skills with a high level of accuracy
- Comfortable working within defined structures and processes
- Affinity with ERP systems (experience with Exact Online is a plus)
- Punctual, reliable, and able to maintain overview
- Professional and clear communicator, also in an international context
- You are comfortable working in both Dutch and English
- Enjoys working as part of a team, while also being able to work independently
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in an operational, supply chain, or administrative role
- Affinity with the cycling industry is a plus
