Tubeless tire installation
How-To: Install your tubeless tires
All Scope wheels are tubeless ready and come with pre-installed tubeless rim-tape and valves. You only need to arrange yourself tubeless tires and sealant to make your wheels tubeless.
- Mount the tire on the wheel by taking into account the rotation direction.
- For a high-volume air flow, remove the valve core. A helpful tool is in most of the cases delivered with the tubeless kit.
- Next, inflate the tire up to 5 bar / 75 PSI.
- While inflating the tire you will hear the tire popping into the hooks of the rim.
- Most of the tubeless tires do have a perfect fit with our rims and are easy to inflate, however in some case a tire booster or compressor can be helpful.
- Now insert 30 ml sealant via the valve hole into the tire.
- Mount the valve core back into the valve and tighten it firmly.
- Inflate the tire up to the recommended tire pressure between 5 and 8.6 bar.
- Spin the wheel while holding it tightly in order spread the sealant equally into the tire.
- Now you have installed your tubeless tires and you are ready to roll.
