Managing the Kona LTD team, she is a mentor for the talents on her team. As such, she helped riders like young Dutch Lotte Koopmans to continuously grow through the ranks.

The latter competed at the UCI XC World Cup and UCI Marathon World Series in 2018, with some success. It’s a similar story for other athletes on the team. In 2019, u23 World Cup rider Teus Reuijter is looking to do the next steps in his career.

Partnering with the team helps Scope to put the O2 wheels through their paces on some of the roughest and toughest race courses around the world, from the Netherlands to South Africa.

IN OWN WORDS

“Being a Dutch team, we’re happy to use the O2 wheels, since they’re developed in the Netherlands. For us, Scope is a great a partner. They really understand the aspects that make a good wheel an outstanding one. Mountain biking is all about cornering, sprinting, climbing, and carrying speed. Stiffness and light weight are the most important aspects for a wheel and the O2 embodies exactly that.“
