About the Job

We’re looking for a product developer. In this role the main objective will be to develop new innovative products, thereby shaping the future of Scope! All Scope products are developed in-house at our R&D center, located in Eindhoven, in collaboration with various high-tech partners and institutes, offering you access to the latest innovations and technologies. Everything you need, to stay ahead of the game!

At Scope you will work as part of a small team and, furthermore, you will team up with our business partners. On top of that, you will also liaise globally with our European and overseas production facilities, our professional athletes and teams.

You’ll lead our R&D projects, with a strong focus on improving and development of new products. You’ll develop new ideas and lead the process from brainstorming sessions to the final product launch, including construction, designing and modeling (e.g. FEM & CFD) and testing.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to bring:

  • A degree in engineering (Bachelor or Masters), preferably in aerospace-, mechanical- or industrial engineering.
  • A strong passion for and knowledge of the cycling market and rider requirements; ideally through own experience, either competitive or recreational.

It would also be great if you:

  • Are able to manage projects, without much guidance.
  • Are hands-on.
  • Have a proactive and curious approach.
  • Have experience in technical drawing (2D & 3D), experience in Solid Works would be a plus.
  • Are fluent in English, Dutch would be a plus but is not a must.
